“Para” as a term comes from Greek and means “next to” or “side by side”. This definition outlines our future within the health service and as student paramedics at UWS. This is also the reason why I would love to be a student rep for our year group. We are all in this journey together, and I wish to be a part of supporting us all within what will be a pretty “mental” year. I have a positive attitude and a strong desire to support everyone within our team of student paramedics; I want to promote us all to act as a team and acknowledge that we are all working toward the same goal. I would love to collaborate with other course reps and the educational team that encourage our learning . If you decide to support me, I can assure you that I will listen and show understanding and empathy for any issues that you wish to be acknowledged, and these issues will be brought forward so that they can benefit all of us as the team that we should be.
