Hi, My name is Wendy Wilson I am a mum to 3 I am from Sheffield but now live in Wemyss Bay. I am a student just like you. I am running for the position student representative because I believe everyone deserves a voice and I am happy to speak up for those that don't feel they can or don't want to.

My experience and skills:

I have experience in being a student representative at college, and as a representative for looked after children who are leaving care (foster child),.I have developed the skill of talking up for the minority or the ones who just don't feel they can for whatever reason. I am a good listener who is passionate about treating everyone as equal. I believe these make me an ideal candidate to be a student nurse candidate. 

What I plan to do if elected:

If elected I would aim to:

- Objective 1 Listen to all no matter how big or small with no judgment and pass this information on.

- Objective 2 Make a difference to services here at UWS making sure your voice is heard.

I think these aims will have a positive impact on our voice here at UWS...I want to be your voice so you feel UWS is a place you want to be.I will pass on any information you feel you want to be voiced without judgment.
