Cameron Cassells

COMPUTING, ENGINEERING, AND PHYSICAL SCIENCES SCHOOL OFFICER

Hi!

My name is Cameron and I’m currently the 2nd year Physics with Nuclear technology class rep.

As we move into a post pandemic world, the university must make some important decisions on how it wants to move forward with the way it delivers its learning experience and what life after covid will look like at UWS.

Now, more than ever it is important that all voices are heard, and that students are fully represented. Online learning has worked well in some areas but not in others and how the university plans to address this these issues must come from the student experience at UWS.

As your School Officer I will use the skills and experiences I’ve gained as class rep to represent all students within the CEPS school and to make sure that your voices are heard by the students’ union team, so that any decisions made can be done for your best interest.

I also believe it is just as important that students are keep well informed on the decisions being made by the student’s union, so that they can see their feedback being actioned and feel connected to the changes be implemented. As such I will always strive to keep you as well informed as I am about any changes being made.

If you agree, then vote for me!

You can vote online at www.uwsunion.org.uk/vote from 12:00 Monday 1st March until 12:00 Thursday 4th March.

Thanks,

Cam.
