Hello friends, and welcome (welcome back) to UWS.
I am Kevin, an international student from Cameroon, and you can speak to me in English or French. I study a Doctor of Business Administration course at our London Campus, where I also earned my MBA. So yes, I have been at UWS for 4 years now.
My mates would describe me as a cheerful, approachable and playful guy. A few students have nicknamed me 'Uncle'; ask me why when you meet me.
Coming to University was very daunting as I was the first in my family to study abroad. However, getting involved at Uni and making new friends helped me feel at home. I want to be your friend, so don't hesitate to say hello and connect with me on social media.
As your VP of Education this year, broadly speaking, I want to ensure that the University's new approaches to learning continue to be student-centred. This academic year will inevitably be different from others, so it's essential that changes within the University reflect us students. I aim to do this by working closely with the University.
However, I will also represent you and lead on all things related to Education at UWS. These include; timetabling, learning resources, teaching processes, assessments, academic support, and student progression. I will work with your Class Reps and use their feedback to help improve your quality of learning and teaching experience.
I wish us all a great academic year and look forward to meeting you.
