University can be tough sometimes, or life outside of uni might get in the way of your studies. The Student Union is committed to supporting the mental health & wellbeing of students & staff. We're aiming to increase the awareness of the services available to supporting students & staff; properly inform students & staff about the symptoms & misconceptions of ill mental health; as well as promoting ways we can all improve our mental health through making small changes in our everyday lives. If you have questions, concerns or want to find out more information about mental health students are free to use the university's free & confidential Counselling service as well as Your Union's Advice Centre. Both are available to support students' emotional wellbeing & development throughout their time at university. There is also a lot of support out there for you to explore.
