The Nigerian Students Society aims to bring people of Nigerian Descent together. Our society serves as a platform to unite Nigerians and those who'd like to experience Nigerian Culture. We hope to provide our members support, a sense of belonging and the experience of a home away from home.

Our society is a vibrant community of Nigerian students at the University of the West of Scotland. Our mission is to foster unity, promote cultural diversity, and provide a supportive network for Nigerian students studying at UWS.
We understand that studying abroad can be challenging, and it's always helpful to have a community of like-minded individuals to lean on. Our society provides a platform for Nigerian students to connect, socialize, and share their experiences. We organize a range of events and activities throughout the academic year, including cultural festivals, movie nights, and networking events.
One of our primary goals is to promote Nigerian culture and traditions within the UWS community. We believe that our cultural heritage is something to be proud of and celebrated. Through our events and activities, we hope to educate and raise awareness about Nigerian culture, music, cuisine, and more.
