Welcome to MED Society London at the University of the West of Scotland, London Campus.
MED Society London is a student-led academic and professional community for students pursuing MEd Educational Studies. Our society is designed to support students academically, professionally and personally by creating a space for peer learning, educational discussion, networking, collaboration and student belonging.
The society reflects the wider values of Educational Studies by engaging with themes such as teaching and learning, research, pedagogy, inclusion, diversity, global education, innovation, technology, policy, social justice and educational leadership. We aim to connect classroom learning with real educational issues and help students develop confidence as future educators, researchers and leaders.
Through study circles, workshops, guest talks, academic discussions, peer support sessions, networking opportunities and social events, MED Society London supports students throughout their university journey. Whether members are interested in teaching, educational research, leadership, consultancy, policy development or further study, the society provides a platform for growth, confidence and meaningful connection.
Our key aims are to:

MED Society London is more than a society. It is a space for future educators, researchers and education leaders to learn, connect, lead and transform education.
