About us
UWS Ukrainian Society is a student community bringing people together through friendship, shared experiences and a connection to Ukraine.
Our society is a place to meet new people, make friends and enjoy university life together. While Ukraine is at the heart of our community, you don't have to be Ukrainian to be part of it. If you're interested in Ukraine, its traditions or simply want to meet new people and get involved, you're always welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We're planning a mix of social and cultural events throughout the year, including casual meet-ups, game and film nights, seasonal celebrations, trips, workshops and Ukrainian-themed events.
We also hope to collaborate with other societys and Ukrainian student communities across Glasgow and Scotland, creating more opportunities to meet people, share experiences and make new connections.
Most importantly, we want the Society to grow around the people who join it. New ideas are always welcome, and there will be opportunities to get involved, help organise events and become part of the team.
