Here you can find a list of all the policies which have been passed by student council. We're working on a live tracker so you can check the progress of each policy, but until we've got that up and running please contact your student president team to ask for an update on policies. You can also check out current ideas and rejected ideas.

    Representation for students in student accommodation

      To start working with the Acommodation department within the university and other relevant parties to have student reps for all blocks of UWS’ acommodation. There will be meetings with accommodation staff and sabbatical officers to discuss issues brought to the reps. A representative cannot also work for the ResLife team

      It is important that issues that people have are able to be brought to the attention the same manner course issuees are

      Is there anything else you think we should know?

      Strathclyde University operate a system of halls reps, this system was researched and adjusted appropriately for UWS (ie. across many campuses)
