Has it Changed Your Life Yet?

What do you believe?

I feel it’s a critical point in most people life’s when they go through University, a lot of the people here are either re-training or experiencing it for the first time, but from my experience in my life I always feel “If you don’t ask then you won’t get,” stands for a lot.

With the current pandemic going on more and more is going digital as well as our learning, this is all new for majority of the students as well as the lecturer’s so its always best to have someone that will look at both sides and relay that information back to the divisional board with the staff.

My purpose is to listen to your educational experience, take on your feedback and use that to make changes that are required so you get the best student experience possible. This can range from a lot of issues, but we can’t fix them if there is no one there to listen.

I come from a job currently that has me training and providing advice to staff to make sure they give the best experience in their job role, I also do this as well at the dojo I practice in, I’m there to listen and be reasonable and take everyone’s opinion on board when a decision is required to be made because everyone’s voice in our course matters because its our future.

You need a Academic Rep for the Division of Computing who has a strategic thinking approach  to influence decisions at a University level, one that has problem-solving skills to help work out solutions to student issue’s, one with great communication who is great at gathering and relaying feedback as well as a team worker so this person will work with the other academic reps to find common ground on issues.

Do I believe I am that person?

I believe in myself and if you do too, I always will be.
