🎶✨ Tune Twister: Singing Together in Perfect Harmony ✨🎶
On 17 June 2025, the UWS Union hosted an unforgettable Tune Twister: Anthyakshari event at the London campus, where students came together to celebrate music, culture, and community spirit.
The event took place in Classroom 1 of the UWS Import Building, transforming it into a vibrant space filled with laughter and song. There were no microphones or formal performances—just everyone joining voices in unison. Students sang together, filling the room with the familiar sounds of Bollywood favorites and lively Pashto tunes.

With no competition or prizes, the focus was simply on enjoying each other’s company and creating joyful memories. Between songs, everyone shared slices of delicious pizza and spontaneous dance moments that made the gathering feel like a warm, informal celebration among friends.

“I loved how everyone felt comfortable singing in their own language. It made me feel at home,” said one participant.
“Bohat maza agaya har hafte karna chahiye” (It was very fun, we should do it every week)said one participant.
The UWS Union shared their excitement for the future, saying they are already looking forward to doing it again—and next time, they hope to see even more people get involved so everyone can enjoy a wider mix of Nepali songs and English hits too.
The Union extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and made Tune Twister such a special experience. Events like these remind us that music is a powerful way to connect across cultures and feel at home, no matter where we come from.
