🎨✨ UWS Union Hosts a Fun-Filled ‘Mehandi Magic’ Celebration at London Campus! ✨🎨

The UWS Union, in collaboration with the Chill and Chat Society, recently transformed the Export Open Area into a colourful hub of creativity and laughter during their Mehandi Magic event on the 8th and 9th of July 2025.

Over the two-day celebration, students gathered to enjoy a relaxed and friendly vibe, getting beautiful henna designs applied while catching up with friends. 🎉 Many didn’t just stop at having Mehandi done—they picked up the cones themselves and started putting Mehandi on each other, showing off some truly impressive hidden talents. 🌟 From delicate floral patterns to bold contemporary designs, the creativity on display was simply inspiring.

The atmosphere was full of smiles and playful energy as students moved around joking and teasing each other with their henna-stained hands. 🤭 Adding to the joy, everyone delighted in Jalebi, the traditional Indian sweet. 🍬 The crispy, syrupy treats were a huge hit, and plates quickly disappeared as students savoured every bite.

“It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and having so much fun,” shared an organiser from the UWS Union. “Some of the henna designs were so good, it felt like we’d uncovered hidden gems of artistic talent in our student community.” 🌿

By the end of the event, everyone left with beautiful Mehandi, happy hearts, and sticky fingers from all the delicious Jalebi. 💖

The success of Mehandi Magic has sparked excitement for more cultural and creative events in the future—so stay tuned for what’s next! 🌼
