Change starts with you, and your voice is already making a difference.
London Campus Assembly – Thank You for Coming
Thank you to everyone who joined the London Campus Assembly on 11 November, and to all of you who’ve completed the Everything Matters survey so far. Our CEO came down to London to speak with you directly, showing just how important your experiences and feedback are at the highest level of the University. Many of you shared the challenges you face as postgraduate international students balancing long commutes, work, family responsibilities and full-time study. We want you to know that your voices are being heard.
Students raised concerns about the cost of living, the lack of microwaves and hot water on campus, limited study and social spaces, long gaps between classes, difficulties accessing Personal Tutor support, issues with online attendance recording, and questions about upcoming UKVI changes. We’ve already taken these issues to senior staff at the University, including the Principal, the Dean and leadership teams, and we will continue pushing for clear, practical improvements that support your experience at UWS London.
Your feedback is essential — it is shaping the conversations we have with the University and helping us highlight the real challenges London students face. We are committed to making sure your experiences are recognised and not overlooked.
We want to encourage you to keep getting involved. Join future assemblies, speak with your Student Reps, and continue completing the Everything Matters survey. Every voice strengthens our ability to advocate for change, and your participation genuinely makes a difference on this campus.
Together, we can build a better experience for all UWS London students.
