The Nepalese Society held their very first Tihar celebration on campus, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The event took place in the auditorium and brought together students from all backgrounds to enjoy the vibrant traditions of this beautiful festival.

Attendees were treated to a lively programme, including interactive games that had everyone laughing and joining in. The atmosphere was electric as talented students showcased their skills through live dance and singing performances, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.

The celebration didn’t stop there—a dance party later in the day had students hitting the floor and celebrating together, while an art display allowed many to share their creative expressions with the campus community.

The event was a fantastic success, marking an exciting beginning for the Nepalese Society. It not only celebrated the traditions of Tihar but also brought students together, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation on campus.
The Society looks forward to more events like this in the future, continuing to celebrate diversity and creativity at our Students’ Union.
