A huge thank you to everyone who came along to West Fest across our campuses — we loved meeting you all and starting the semester together.

We had great events at Paisley and Lanarkshire, with university services, the Students’ Union, and student societies all in one place. It was brilliant chatting to students, answering questions, and seeing so many people get involved and find out what’s available to them at UWS.

We also ran a smaller, societies-only event in Ayr, led by the Students’ Union, which gave societies the chance to connect directly with students in a more relaxed setting. If West Fest got you thinking about getting more involved, there are loads of ways to do that — from joining a society, becoming a course rep, volunteering, or just popping into Union spaces on campus for a chat.
