Who We Are
We are a community of students, graduates and professionals.
We aim to grow, learn, teach, and have fun and connect with others through games development.
No matter your course, we welcome anyone with an interest in game development with aspects from programming to animation, art, music technology, and more!
Our aim is to bring together students from all campuses, and from any course, that are interested in developing games.
What We Do
Here at the Game Development society, we want to indulge you in discussions and events related to anything ‘Video Games’. Here are some of the things you can expect:
Game Jams – cross-disciplinary (games, animation, music tech)
Skills and Knowledge sharing
Showcasing events – A chance to show off something cool you made
We want to provide a place to make everyone feel welcome. Here are a few of the benefits you can get from joining our society!
A space to discuss games, game development, and anything else that may be of relevance
Make friends and valuable industry connections
Connect with game developers, animators and music tech – build up your industry contacts
Collaborate and Share – enter competitions (e.g Transfuzer, game Jams, Rookie Awards )
Possible recruitment and job opportunities related to game development
