UWS Women is the Intersectional Feminism group at the University of the West of Scotland. We believe that feminism must be inclusive and supportive, and we put on events to raise awareness of issues facing women globally, in Scotland, and at UWS.
If you'd like to work with us, or are interested in joining our group, please feel free to get in touch!
This society is an inclusive safe space for everyone who identifies with the label "woman", including non-binary people who may also identify with that label. We work closely with other liberation groups and Accessibility to Education UWS to ensure we are always as inclusive and accessible as possible.

FEMINIST ICONS: I admire every strong woman who makes a success of her life. I have some favourites, Oprah, Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Taylor, and Angela Bassett.
WHAT ISSUES ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?: I am passionate about families and resolving family issues in an amicable manner that the family is better off for it. Hence my Masters in dispute resolution from the University of London.
