On behalf of the Union's staff, Elected officers and Trustees, I would like to thank you for showing interest in the Union and the roles that we have on offer. 

With a new consitution and a new Chief Executive, this is an exciting time to be joining the Union's team. In this section of the website you can find out about our vacancies, both for employed staff and volunteering opportunities. About the Union

The Students' Association of the University of the West of Scotland, or The Union to our members, has been supporting students since 1971, when we were known as the Paisley College of Technology Students' Association. Our Students' Union now represents students from UWS campuses in Paisley, Ayr, Lanarkshire, Dumfries and London. We are a register charity and a company limited by guarentee. 

Our Union exists to enchance, in as many aspects as possible, the overall student experience of those studying at the University of the West of Scotland. 

We have an annual turnover of £800,000 that is a conbination of grant income and trade income. We are looking toe expand and diversify our income streams. 

We are looking for talented staff and volunteers to be part of our story and to make change that will benefit the lives of all students studying at UWS.

We are in the process of developing a new strateigc plan that will be finalised in December 2019.
