With me, what you see is what you get. I speak the truth, no lies.

I do not have any experience of working in a student union but I have life experience which has proved invaluable. I can assure you that I only have people's best interests at heart and will do my best to make sure that your voice is heard.

I started education later in life and it has taught me that nothing is unachievable. I graduated my HNC at the age of 44 and it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I used to be scared of change but I am scared no more. I have gained confidence and gained my voice.

I believe in getting things done, I do not leave things half finished, it is all or none at all. I am a disabled person but I have not let that stop me from getting on in life. I also suffer with anxiety and again, I have not let this hold me back of doing what I want in life.

I am determined to contribute my time and energy to create positive changes that students want to see. I want the students on this course to feel that I am a person that they can trust. I will put my efforts into making university life for students the most fruitful and fulfilling experience that I can.

Ultimately I want people to see me as a figure of trust, who will put every effort into trying to improve student life.

I am a discreet and understanding person when dealing with sensitive issues so students can feel secure that I will maintain their confidences. I am also friendly, approachable and confident with a happy-go-lucky attitude.

I am keen to meet new people and engage with fellow students on a day-to-day basis.

If you want a team player, someone who will listen to your concerns and worries and will work hard to make sure that their voice is heard then VOTE FOR ME.
