My name is Jamie Jennings and I am a second year Accounting student at Lanarkshire campus. I dipped my toe into student representation last year as the Academic Rep for the first year Lanarkshire Accounting students and the wider Division of Accounting, Finance and Law. It has been a challenging time for all and I believe it is vitally important in these unprecedented times, where everyone is facing new ways of working, that you the students have a voice in shaping the response to the challenges. I don’t come to the table with any personal agenda or preconceived policy aim except that of listening to your views and taking them forward to ensure your time at University is to your utmost benefit. That will be my primary focus. I hope I justified your faith in me last year in terms of representation and I would greatly appreciate your continued support in allowing me to represent you again.
