Hi everyone. My name is Grace, and I have put myself forward to be your student rep for this year.

As we all know 2020 has not been an easy year for any of us and has presented so many challenges one of which was starting university with a whole new set of rules and way of learning. As a fellow undergrad I too can relate to the struggles all of you are having to face right now and I believe that I would be effective as your student rep as I will strive to make sure all of your concerns are made known. I will also make sure that all discussions will be fed back to ensure you are kept in the loop about any decisions being made.

What would make me a suitable student rep?

1. I am determined, I want to ensure that everyone can access all materials when needed in any way possible.
2. I am approachable, I believe I have a friendly and sociable personality and will share any way you can contact me whether its by email or social media.
3. I am understanding, I know how hard this upcoming academic year will be and I am trying to get through it just as you all are. I feel this will enable me to take on any feedback and act appropriately.

I would love the opportunity to represent you all this year for the Social Sciences course at the Lanarkshire campus, and hope you will take all in have said into consideration when placing your vote. Thank you.
