As a Student Rep for Applied Biosciences, I aim to be approachable, knowledgable and above all enthusiastic about representing fellow students.

Throughout our time learning at UWS, we will encounter twist, turns, ups, and, downs. I aim to be there for YOU and ensure that your experience is a positive one.

For me, it's all about communication. As a student rep, I will value your thoughts, ideas and concerns. I will provide opportunities for you to voice your thoughts to myself and, relevant lecturers and staff. I will keep you well informed about all things UWS. I will make it my priority to understand what you need to ensure that you get the very best out of your time as a student.

As we enter our final years of study, making decisions about our future careers can be overwhelming. I believe that we need more guidance on writing our CVs, knowing where to look for our dream jobs and how to get relevant experience to be successful in job applications.

I aim to work with lecturers and staff to introduce workshops, to help us make these big decisions, hold more seminars with professionals in a variety of specialised fields, and teach us about the importance of networking.

We are on this rollercaster ride together, but with me as student rep, I hope to make this a rollercoaster you will want to be on.
