Having already stood as a Student Representative in 1st year, I feel that I have the necessary experience and skills to return as a student rep for 3rd Year. 

During my time as a student representative we were able to make changes, raise problems and forward solutions that would better student life at UWS. With such issues including bringing in a more diverse menu to the canteen, fixing technical issues in certain rooms and correcting timetable spacing so that students were being given enough time for breaks between long lectures/labs. 

I feel I have a great relationship with lecturers and fellow students, which has given me the ability to help raise concerns that my classes may feel, as well as to award praise to staff who have went out for their way to help us beyond what has been ask of them.
