Hi I'm Lucy. I've been a student here for 2 years, with 6 months of studying partaken on an Erasmus Exchange.

I want to be student rep for our year group because i feel that we need representation as an entire student body, not one specific category. We want change in our industry, from equal gender artist representation in lineups to basic recognition and credibility for our work. We need to communicate as a whole, we need to work together in order to make changes and I feel that I am a strong communicator with those around me and I am very approachable (for anybody who has yet to meet me) allowing me to make everyone feel welcome and heard no matter our differences.

I want everyone to feel that they are in a safe place and for every individual to feel comfortable during their studies. I think that it would be beneficial for quieter, disregarded voices and opinions to start being heard as well as a general consensus. I believe that it is vital for all of us to feel that we have been heard.

I have a well rounded approach to tackling issues and pushing for change. I have seen positive changes made in the past and feel that I could offer my services to continue these positive changes.
