Hello, I am Isla. 

I would like to put myself forward for Class Rep as I would love for everyone to feel they can approach and speak to me, as I am quite friendly and believe I would be a good voice for the 2020 BSc Midwifery cohort. 

I have lots of experience of working with others, problem solving and have good leadership attributes. I was an active member of the Scottish Assosiation of Young Farmers Clubs for 7 years and carried out many Office Bearer positions, including Club Secretary. This tested my organisaitonal skills to the max whilst also working full time and studying my previous degree. However, I managed, so I would take the Student Rep role very seriously. Some may say i'll take the 'bull by the horns'. (Don't worry, I won't go on too much about the farm. Unless of course we would like to use a barn for a furture Midwifery night out!).

I am outgoing, motivated, patient and like to go around things in a calm and diplomatic way. If voted for I will make sure all ideas are taken forward, everyone is heard, good feedback is provided and will try my best to find an answer for any question.
