I will always try my best for my fellow students!

Hello People of Commercial Music! You all probably know me as "Blu Lennox" from my music (Which is a little embarrassing, not gonna lie) but I'm here to tell you why I'd make a great class representative.

First of all I am a great communicator and very approachable. For example, back in high school I was always the person the S1’s and S2’s would talk to if they weren't comfortable talking with staff. I'd like to think that was because I treated them with respect and listened to them when needed.

Another strength of mine is that I am great with problem solving. Due to how my brain works with my dyslexia and the struggles I’ve had to face with me being deaf in my left ear, I've always had to think of ways to “improvise, adapt, and overcome” in learning and leading. Due to this I normally know how to get things going when it comes to solving a problem, whether that be writing an essay that you're having trouble with or troubles you’re having with a project, I’m you’re guy and I will certainly try to help where I can.

If it's any use to know I have also had the opportunity to get 2 Leadership Awards, first being the “SQA SCQF Level 6 Leadership Award” and I have also been a part of a project called the “Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award.” Having the opportunity to be in these projects has enabled me to hone in on my skills and perfect them, getting more comfortable with staff and students alike and also become more confident in my skills.

I am also a very driven and ambitious person. As you all know I've made an EP.  It took a lot of time and effort to craft all the songs you hear on it, and many rewrites, but I have been able to publish it. This shows my immense drive and passion when it comes to working on projects, I even got to the point where I was able to publish CDs for the EP. This project was my most ambitious yet, and it was a lot of talking to publishers and people to get the project off the ground. As someone whose music is very “self made” I had the passion to never give up, even at times of stress, I held my head high, and got the problem sorted, and I hope my drive and will to never give can help you too.

I will be sure that your voice will be heard, and I will always try my best for my fellow students. Not really much else to say, hope you vote for me and even if you don’t, thanks for reading me waffle on about myself!
