Hi, I’m Stefan Livingston.
I'm a musician/performer and producer.
Having been the rep for the past two years I’ve had the chance to grow closer to the lecturers and have influence on a number of key decisions including module and break timings, lecturer choices and the running of external projects.
I feel class mates are comfortable approaching me with issues and I have done my best to get them sorted ASAP, though I'm always looking for a better and more efficient communication meathod to get problems solved and feedback delivered efficiently as myday is full of errors, so I'd be investigating that immediately.
As we all know networking is essential in this industry and so I’d look to organise informal calls, a Facebook page to support one another and a judgement-free place to communicate. I’d also like to stress the importance of mental health in the industry, and would like to encourage communication and openness in this area. I don't claim to be an expert in this at all though I'd like to learn and offer as much support as i possibly can. Any suggestions on improving this area and making the class feel like they have a safe space for discussion is welcome and encouraged.
