Hi everybody,

My name is Kirsty and I am 39, a mature student (although I feel like I'm in my 20's) , stuying Criminal Justice. 

I was a student representative during 1st year, attending all meetings where I fed back any issues that had arisen throughout the year.  I found this to be a good way of letting the university know of any problems that our course were dealing with, not only course specific but general issues.  

I imagine that the role of student representative may be a bit different this year due to the crazy world we are currently living in.  During last year interaction between myself and my fellow students was minimal but I imagine that the role of student rep will be utilised much more often during the coming year.

I encourage you to contact me (via email) if you are experiencing course related issues as it is important to raise any concerns as soon as possible - please do not struggle with something if it can be solved.  

I know that this is not the year you all thought it was going to be but we have to support each other and get through it together.

So please vote for me to be your representative for 2nd year.  I have the experience from last year and I am not afraid to voice the concerns of my fellow students.
