Hey!

I'm going to start by introducing myself so all of you can get to know a little bit of me. I am a 1st year and I'm studying BSc Adult Nursing. I'm originally from Transylvania which is a region of Romania. I moved to Scotland about 4 years ago with my wife and after moving around the country for about 1 year we eventually settled in Glasgow and decided to make it our home. Before moving here from back home I used to work as a engineer and also as a project manager. Since moving to Scotland I've worked as a HCA in different settings and I got to learn a new part of me that I enjoy very much and that is that I like to help and make other people's day better. I should also say that most of my family are nurses: my wife is working for the NHS, my mum is a retired nurse and my brother-in-law is a nurse manager over in Dublin... so I can clearly say that there is a very strong and proud tradition of nursing in my family.

The reason why I wanted to nominate myself as a student representative is because I was one in my last Uni and Master's as well so I got to see first had all the help I could offer others and I loved every second of this responsibility. I am a very open person always ready to listen to any and all ideas from fellow students no matter how small it may seem and I am ready to put in the work necessary to make something good come of that idea.
