1. Keep students safe from COVID-19.

UWS has not had an outbreak of COVID-19...yet. We must ensure that safety measures are maintained throughout the pandemic. This can only be achieved with a strong student voice.

2. Make home learning accessible.

Home learning should be delivered in formats accessible on all devices and clearly signposted. Students who are struggling for connectivity should be given access to alternative provisions such as MiFi devices or paper copies.

3. Get extra support for those struggling.

In relation to coursework and placements, students should not be punished for self-isolation, COVID status or underlying health conditions. This pandemic is not their fault and they should not be punished for it.
