Since this year has been entirely difficult to predict, I wont make any bold statements and pretend I can get everything done that everyone wants unfortunately. What I can promise however, is that I will give every bit of effort which I have to give no matter how big or how small the issue may be or seem. I always work tirelessly whenever required to resolve any issues faced. I have worked throughout the pandemic (as a private home carer), and at this position I learned the importance of working hard around the clock to ensure peoples lives are made easier and their needs are met. At my position I also learned the importance of giving underrepresented people a voice at all times, and this is something I would love to help achieve as student rep. I also managed to successfully communicate with hospitals, social work etc to get my first client her independence back (when initially she was just left lying on a hospital bed in her living room unable to do anything). Me and my colleague managed to gather materials in order to get her garage converted to a bedroom to give her the independence she once had back again (and we also raised money for her too!). So to cut a long story short, I've been good at representing people in the past and have achieved good results, and I'd love to try and achieve good results again but this time for my classmates! I'm friendly, approachable, always happy and try to be as helpful as possible at all times. I wont drag this on too much longer, but I'm always up for a chat and happy to help people whenever they need it, no matter what the issue may be! So feel free to message whenever :)
