I am Joelle, an international Student from Germany, and I am currently a 3rd year social science student. I have been a Student Rep in Year 1 and really enjoyed working with all of you and improving course specifics with the Reps from the other levels. Equal opportunities are very important to me, and they are not always a given due to language barriers that international students might face or issues with predetermined course allocations for students with care responsibilities or work. There are several reasons why University life might be harder for some students and as your Rep I promise that I will give my best to help improve all sorts of course specifics, speak up for you and always have an open ear, so we can assure fair prerequisites and a good academic experience for everyone!
