73.5% of students reported low wellbeing, let's change that!

Hi everyone,

My name is Monica and I am an international student from Italy; I am a year 4 student (Biomedical Science) and I am nominating myself as the Vice President of Welfare and Wellbeing.

I think this role would suit me as I would like to be actively involved in improving students' wellbeing. As a student myself, I am aware of the challenges students face every day and how poor mental health can negatively impact their overall experience; finances can also play a crucial role, along with hunger and housing issues, in how well students perform in assignments and exams.

If elected I would also commit to support students' welfare and wellbeing and create a safe space for minorities and stand for EQUALITY, DIVERSITY and INCLUSIVITY. In addition, I would provide budgeting templates and tips on how to optimise grocery shopping, to mention some.
