I believe that SAUWS should be more open and accountable to the students; with greater use of referenda in important decisions that impact the lives of students.  If elected I would ensure that decisions are made ONLY after full consultation with students and SAUWS staff from all affected campuses.  As a Hamilton student I personally feel that the views of students from the Hamilton, Ayr and Dumfries are not always heard appropriately or proportionately to those of Paisley students, and if elected I'll ensure this changes to ensure fairness for all students.
