Priority 1: Expand Volunteering Options:
- Create diverse volunteering opportunities with community partners.
- Match skills with micro-volunteering options for all.
- Offer pre-volunteering workshops and mentorship.
- Provide an "Employability Skills Certificate."


Priority 2: Supporting International Students:

    •    Develop a thorough orientation program covering cultural adjustment, academic expectations, visa regulations, and campus resources.
    •    Organise cultural sensitivity workshops for both international and domestic students to foster cross-cultural understanding.
    •    Implement a buddy program pairing international students with local mentors for guidance and support.
    •    Create a dedicated international student lounge for connecting, relaxing, and accessing resources.
    •    Host diverse cultural events celebrating international holidays and traditions.
    •    Partner with local organisations for volunteer opportunities and cultural exchange programs.

Priority 3: Mental Health:

    •    Implement counselling sessions and mental health policies in local organisations and universities.
    •    Conduct awareness sessions and write blogs on mental health topics.
    •    Organise a mental health week to promote the importance of mental well-being.

Priority 4: Effective Functioning of Societies and Student Organisations:

    •    Ensure regular meetings of the Societies Council across all campuses.
    •    Communicate meeting details and policy submissions in advance.
    •    Consider innovative agendas and adhere to the union constitution.

Priority 5: Hosting of Events
    •    Host industry-specific fairs, workshops, and mentorship programs.
    •    Provide pre-graduation career planning and post-graduation support.
    •    Offer internship assistance and entrepreneurship resources.

Priority 6: Green Campus:

    •    Promote environmental conservation initiatives like tree planting and recycling.
    •    Commit to eliminating single-use plastic.


Priority 7: Equal Opportunity and Better Participation:
- Ensure representation and participation of all students in university events.
- Support marginalised groups such as the disabled, LGBTQIA+, BAME, etc., through campaigns and policy reviews.
