My name is Abul Kalam Imran, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies at the University of the West of Scotland's London Campus. I am honored to announce my candidacy for the position of Vice President of Welfare and Well-being.

As a Vice President of Welfare and Wellbeing of student union my key steps will be,

1. Mental Health Support

• Description: Promote mental health awareness and support within the student community. Coordinate with counseling services to ensure accessible mental health resources for all students.

2. Student Safety and Welfare

• Description: Ensure a safe campus environment through initiatives that address physical safety, sexual health education, and anti-bullying campaigns. Partner with local health services and campus security to provide comprehensive support.

3. Financial Support and Resources

• Description: Assist students in accessing financial aid, scholarships, and budgeting advice to alleviate financial stress. Work closely with the university's financial aid office to create informative workshops and resources.

4. Academic Support and Stress Management

• Description: Provide resources and programs to help students manage academic pressures effectively. Collaborate with academic departments to offer workshops on time management, study skills, and stress-reduction techniques.
