My name is Catalina Rodriguez and I am an international first-year postgraduate student at the Business and Creative Industries School. I am standing for election as one of the school officers because I would like to ensure that the needs and views of all students at our school are heard. I am good at listening and would love to help you bring new ideas to the table. I would like to work with you to build the experience we all want to get from our time at the UWS. I believe I am qualified to do this thanks to my varied background as a professional musician, cultural manager and entrepreneur.

I have experience of university life in several different countries. As an international student, I am also aware of the challenges and language barriers some students may experience. As your representative on the School Board, I would work to make sure your ideas are properly understood and would ensure that you feel you have a safe place to express them.
