My name is Lauren Kerr I am a second-year student, a student rep and the best choice for one of your Education and Social Sciences School Officers.

What does a vote for Lauren mean?

As an Education and Social Sciences School Officer, it would be my job to represent my fellow students and make sure their values and needs are at the forefront of decision making at UWS. The following are just some of the key ideas I want to bring forward with my election win.

Diverse campus diverse decisions

The student body of UWS is more varied than ever before. From young and mature students,LGBTQ+ students, student carers, students with children and all different types of wonderful students working hard at UWS. That's why as an Education and Social Sciences School Officer I would make sure every decision made affecting the student body worked for every different type of student and not let your problems be forgotten!

Your campus your choices

I believe it's important that the decisions being made are influenced by the people they will affect that's why as one of your Education and Social Sciences officers I promise no decision I make will be made without first making sure I know its what the student body wants and needs.

Support for everyone who needs it 

University can be a fun and rewarding experience but as a fellow student I know just how stressful university can be that's why student mental health and stress relief is one of my top priorities when it comes to supporting the students at UWS and I hope that as one of your Education and Social Sciences officers I can help make your university experience more fun and less stressful!
