I see you/I listen to you/ I'm there for you.

Hi there!

I am running for a position on the Doctoral College Board. Before I tell you why I feel I have the qualifications for the position, I would like to share a little bit more about myself with you all.

I am currently a second-year postgraduate researcher at the University of the West of Scotland; my work revolves around the representation of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) in Contemporary Hollywood Cinema. I am keen on examining how Hollywood cinema shapes and reinforces stereotypes and stigma around DID.

If elected as a member of the Doctoral College Board, I will do my best to promote communication and interaction between the doctoral college and doctoral students.

I will also boost the participation of PGR students in organising Training weeks, Conferences and Seminars held by the UWS.

I will appreciate your support to allow me to represent you at a greater level.
