Who's this event for?
This event is open to all postgraduate students at UWS
Why should you attend this event?
- This is your opportunity to meet other postgraduate students who may face similar experiences and challenges to you
- The Students' Union would like to help develop an active Postgraduate Students Society across our campuses
- We will use this event to make plans for more postgraduate students events and to help you keep in contact with each other
- You will also have the opportunity to ask Students' Union staff any questions about your university experience
What will happen at the event?
- This will be an informal, social meeting with a focus on getting to know other students
- You will be welcomed by one of your Students' Union Officers or staff members
- There will be free snacks and refreshments
- We will chat about:
- your university experiences so far and what's been good and bad about it
- what similar challenges students face and what you would like to gain from your university experience
- how you can support each other throughout the year
- what the Students' Union can do to enable this

- We are looking for students who would like to take on leading roles in the development of our Postgraduate Students Society
