What is Freshers?
Freshers week is a week to celebrate all new and returning students arriving on the university campus. It provides you with the chance to meet new friends, learn more about your Students' Union, course, campus, societies, and so much more!
It's a great time to help familiarise yourself with your new town, campus, course-mates, and of course flat-mates!
What happens at Freshers?
Students can participate in a variety of activities during Freshers week, from daytime events to evening events: from the Freshers Fair, where you will learn all about the Students' Union and local businesses (and get lots of freebies!) to the evening Freshers events where you can let loose, sing karaoke, and party with your new found friends, there is something for everyone.

The Freshers Pass?
With the Freshers Pass, students can gain free access to all freshers events, and free or discounted access to events throughout the year. In addition to these savings, your Students' Union offers additional discounts on food and drinks (only applicable with a Freshers pass).
This is a great way to save money and make the most of your Freshers Week!
Please note that students from Dumfries, Lanarkshire, and London are more than welcome to Ayr and Paisley’s Freshers events. These passes are not just for students at these campuses.
