Role Description

General help at specific events such as our fashion shows, premises moves etc.

 

You may be a creative person or a student looking for formal events experience, or a friendly person looking to help front-of-house at events. You may be full of energy and happy to help when we are setting up events or moving premises. Whatever your skill is, we will try to accommodate you!

 

Physical distancing is in place and mask-wearing is mandatory unless you are exempt. We ask everyone to please sanitise your hands upon entry and before using any shared equipment.

 

About this organisation

ReMode Renfrewshire is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Our purpose is to raise awareness of the environmental impact of the fashion and textiles industry and give young people and the wider community the knowledge and practical skills needed to reduce this impact. We run a retail space and workshop on Paisley High Street where we sell second hand and upcycled clothes, alongside ethical toiletries/cleaning products and showcase local designers work. We also run workshops and events for the local community.

When can I volunteer?

Other times are available depending upon the activity e.g. we host workshops throughout the week. Working from home can be done any time

Skills/Experience Required

Previous experience would be beneficial depending on your area of interest (e.g make up artist, photographer or hair stylist for one of our events)

 

For general help such as front of house staff, no experience is necessary
