Saturday 30th September saw the 2nd Ayr Student Film Festival, hosted agian in Ayr Town Hall. A packed audience enjoyed 6 student films submitted form a shortlist of over 30. The Festival has grown to be bigger and better in it's second year, thanks to the hard work of Chris Kelly and all of his society members.

"It's been fantastic. Being part of the society has given me something to do, I've met some great people and made some connections that will be really helpful" (Sean Burns, Ayr Student Film festival Society committee member)

The incredible quality of films on display provided laughter, tears and and an inspiring insight into the work and subjects of our student filmakers. The judging panel were left with difficult decisions but chose "Pits" by Director Clark Allan as the winner!
