The Student Services Funding and Advice Team, in partnership with The Students’ Union are thrilled to be bringing National Student Money Week back to UWS - Monday 22nd to Friday 26th February 2021 - for another week of advice, guidance, resources and recommendations to help you stay on top of your finances.

Win £20 Just Eat Vouchers!

To mark National Student Money Week 2021, Your Union is running a competition to find out your best money saving tips!

To enter, write a post or create a short video during 22nd - 26th February sharing your best money saving tips, tag @UWSStudents and use the hashtag #NSMW21

Winners will be announced on Friday 26th February.

Here's some suggested questions to help you get started with your post or video:

• What money saving advice do you wish you had known about before you started studying?
• What money advice would you give a 1st year student?
• What is your go-to money 'life hack'?

Competition Terms & Conditions:

1. The competition is open to all students of UWS and only one entry will be accepted per person.
2. Entries will be accepted during 22nd Feb - 26th Feb. Closing date for entry will be 12pm on Friday 26th February.
3. To enter, submit your best 'Money Saving Tips' as a post or short video (i.e. less than 1 minute in duration) on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The post must tag @UWSStudents and contain the hashtag #NSMW21 to be considered.
4. The prizes available are 5 x £20 Just Eat vouchers.
5. The competition entries will be judged by the Union president and Chief Executive on Friday 26th February.
6. The 5 winners will be individually notified by direct message/email and announced on the Union’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts at approximately 4.30pm on Friday 26th February. We will notify the winners via direct message/email when and where the prizes can be collected.
7. The winners agree to the use of their name and submitted post or video in any publicity material.
8. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
