Just like a workers’ union, the key focus of Your Students’ Union is to represent students. We do this by working with a huge team of Student Reps! Student Reps at all levels are voted for by their peers, and work to represent you – the students – at every level of UWS, from course level discussions right up to the University Court and Senate.

At the start of every year we work together with UWS to elect Course Representatives who gather student opinions, share those opinions in meetings with staff, work together with staff to make things better, and keep their course mates informed as they go!

Becoming a course rep means joining a community of students from across the university, you’ll get to see how UWS works, develop your skills, get opportunities to meet UWS senior management, and of course help to make the student experience at UWS a great one for yourself and others.

So what are you waiting for? Talk to your lecturer and stand to be a course rep!
