Be part of Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 13 December and help us make the world better with a sweater!
All you have to do is wear your silliest, sparkliest or cosiest festive woolly to work and donate £1 or more to Save the Children.
If you don’t own a Christmas jumper, then don’t worry – you can always dig out a plain sweater from your wardrobe and get creative with tinsel, baubles and homemade snowflakes.
Or if you’d rather hit the high street then head to John Lewis or go online to www.johnlewis.com to choose from a special selection of festive knitwear, with £25 from the sale of each jumper going to Save the Children.
Please take pictures of you and your team in their Christmas jumpers and send them to myself or post them on the SAUWS facebook (www.facebook.com/uwsstudents) or twitter (www.twitter.com/SAUWSstudents) accounts.
The money we raise will help save children’s lives in some of the toughest parts of the world – from Syria to Liberia, Haiti to Bangladesh. So let’s see how much we can fundraise together.
If you’d like to be part of the buzz in the run-up to Christmas Jumper Day, you can visit facebook.com/christmasjumperday and on Twitter use the hashtag #xmasjumperday.
