Catering staff at UWS have been sacked by email

The same student workers who were refused furlough back in March have now been let go by the university, and were only informed of this by email.

Dan Hutchison, UWS Greens co-convener, said “we are disappointed again to see the University mistreat student staff so quickly after their refusal to furlough earlier this year. We have communicated these concerns with the student executive and share our solidarity with the workers involved.”
