What helps people get through tough times is having a great support network; and this year, the Nursing Society is back with a few changes.
We are here to provide support for all future nurses and allied healthcare professionals.
We aim to support each other by reaching out, raising awareness & engaging students across nursing courses.
Wether you are BSc, MSc, 1st year, 3rd year or anything in between, studying any course that falls under the umbrella of nursing and allied healthcare professionals, we look forward to welcoming you, getting to know you, and working with you to make the rest of your time at UWS a fantastic time.
And anything else we can think of. This is a collaboration, a way to network, and also a place for you to find some sanctuary from SafeMedicate!
Intersex Memorial Day / Intersex Day of Solidarity is on the 8th November, the birthday of Herculine Barbin who was a famous French Intersex person. The day calls for a day of solidarity and ally-ship for all Intersex people.
The same student workers who were refused furlough back in March have now been let go by the university, and were only informed of this by email.
This year is tough, no one is going to debate that.
