    Improvements in Ayr Catering Facilities

      Food in the catering areas in Ayr is expensive for the portion sizes received and is especially disproportionately expensive in relation to the income of the average student. Additionally, the University should improve the service at the catering facilities. At peak lunch times, it is not unusual for process of ordering and paying for food to take around 30 minutes which is almost impossible if lunch falls between classes. Catering staff often take their breaks during busy meal times which slows service further. There should be additional pay terminals to increase service times.

      Why you think it is important

      All students should have access to a reasonably priced and timely catering service whilst on campus.
