Find and join Societies

Have a look through the list of our societies. When you find something you like, click on a logo for more information on that society.

Use the e-mail address linked on the society's page to say hello if you're interested in joining the society.

Some societies have a small joining fee. You can pay this as part of the sign up process.

As a UWS student, you're welcome to join any of our societies. You can join as many as you like.

Joining a society does not been you are making any set commitments. It is simply an opportunity to meet other students with shared interests and experiences.

Once you've joined, send the society a quick email to introduce yourself. You can do this by clicking on the email logo at the top of the society’s page.

Most society pages have links to social media accounts which you can use as well as email.

All our societies are run by students, on a voluntary basis, so don't worry if they don't respond immediately. They will get in touch as soon as they can.
